Matari coffee is produced in Bani Matar district – Sana’a Governorate, and is grown on the mountain terraces and valleys at an altitude of 1,700 to 2,800 meters above sea level.
• Types: Dawiri (mostly), Tuffahi and Udini.
- Method of production: Coffee is drying under the sun over rooftops and in modern dryers.
- Characteristics: very sophisticated with wonderful exciting flavor and will make you addicted to it.
